After some time away, quite a few updates
I haven’t posted for a while for several reasons. However, to redeem myself I come bearing news. We’ve relaunched our website, moved the blog URL and we’re about to launch Goplan publicly.
Our new website:
Being constantly unhappy about what I produce for myself (ourselves in this case), I keep thinking about whether our site is effective in terms of design, content findability and navigation. This forces me to consider our website a perpetual work in progress. However today we’ve launched what I believe is a pretty good update from the previous “version”.
We’ve dropped the old CMS I had developed and moved to a Ruby on Rails solution using RadiantCMS - a choice I am quite happy about. Also, I’ve tweaked the design and layout to facilitate content discovery, and added some new content related to our work and more importantly, how we do it. If people are interested in how the site was setup, I can post something a little more in-depth.
New blog URL:
I probably made your feed-reader believe that all stories from this blog were updated or new, but it was for a good cause. In deploying the new website, I felt the need to separate the weblog from our work - not because they’re not complementary, but because it makes more sense to browse them separately (or in sequence). So, the blog is now at blog.webreakstuff.com.
All changes to the feed as well as old URLs should be taken care of, so there would be no broken links or feed problems - however do let me know if anything appears weird to you, though.
Want to beta-test GoPlan?
I’ve grown tired of splash-pages with email boxes to sign-up for betas, so we’ll play it differently with our own products. We’re about to launch a private beta of GoPlan, our project management solution - and would like to have some of our readers have some fun with it first. If you’re interested in having a first-look, leave a comment and if you’re lucky you’ll be in (we would add everyone right now, really, but we want this to grow slowly at first).

I love the new design. Very simple and easy on the eyes. I am interested in beta-testing GoPlan too. Would appreciate an invite. Thanks.
