Up until now, Apple has been a big part of the problem. Remember when Apple kept shutting down Real from using their Harmony technology to make files that were compatible with the ipod? Now the news articles are reading "Can Apple convince recording industry?" http://www.usatoday.com/tech/news/2007-02-08-apple-drm_x.htm Like it was their idea all along. This is such a load of crap.
