Hey Matt, sure thing. Background information is always on the footer of the site. Both illustrations currently being used are by Ray Fenwick, a Nova Scotia illustrator (and a brilliant guy, too)

I am looking into using openID (with a Rails web app) at the moment. The proposed solution involves implementing it alongside existing login code I created from scratch. It should eventually allow both openID login and traditional register/login.

The first time users login with openID, I reward them with a little extra note and some content - and occasionally prompt them to supply more details to their profile for the app.

BTW -- I love the background wallpaper on this site? Can I ask where it came from ?
